Orthopantomography
A modification of pantomography in which the X-ray beam is kept perpendicular to the jaws, producing a flat image of both jaws and their teeth.
Lateral Cephalometric
Lateral cephalometric radiograph is a radiograph of the head taken with the x-ray beam perpendicular to the patient's sagittal plane. Commonly used for braces treatment.
Periapical X-rays
Periapical X-rays highlight only one or two teeth at a time. A periapical X-ray looks similar to a bite-wing X-ray. However, it shows the entire length of each tooth, from crown to root.
